Louis Barnett

It’s not what we put in our chocolate, it’s what we leave out that makes it so special!

Welcome to Louis Barnett.co.uk

I  am an entrepreneur and chocolatier.I founded Chokolit in 2005 at the age of 12. I started making cakes and chocolates on my kitchen table and was the youngest ever supplier to Waitrose at the age of 14 and Sainsburys at 15.

I have been studying chocolate for three years at the Barry Callebaut Academy in Oxfordshire. In 2009 I was presented with the Lord Carter Memorial Award for outstanding achievement in the food industry at the House of Lords.

I now supply retailers, delicatessens, distributors and zoos across the UK.

I am an ambassador for many charities, conservation projects and Enterprise organisations. I have recently been made one of the celebrity ambassadors for World Animal Day.

My Biting Back BarsTM  allow me to get the message across that we all need to protect wildlife and the environment if we are to have a sustainable future. I decided to use chocolate as a medium to raise awareness of global climate change, animal endangerment and human impact, whilst raising funds for charities that truly can make a difference!

The Biting Back BarsTM are not only delicious, but we donate 10p from the sale of every bar to different animal charities.
